Traveling With the Wind

Hi, I’m Sara Mosavi.

I’m seventeen years old and the author of Traveling With the Wind. This book is the story of the real Afghanistan and its people. It’s not only my story, but the story of thousands of refugees all over the world. This is a story of the life we share beyond our differences and a feeling we all share: hope.

About Sara Mosavi.

Sara was born in 2006 in Kabul, Afghanistan. Sara is the first child of a young Afghan couple. Sara's father joined the US Army in 2002 and served for eight year. Sara spent fifteen years of her life in Kabul and started school at the age of five. Sara believes that her parents played an important role in her life and always encouraged and support her. Sara and her family were forced to leave their home in 2021 after the fall of the Afghan government and the arrival of the Taliban and immigrated to the United States of America!

Give yourself chance to change this world to better place

We’re raising funds on IndieGoGo so we can share Sara’s story with the world.

When the name of an Afghan is mentioned, the only thing that comes to everyone's mind is an unfortunate war-stricken immigrant, but this image is terrible for us to see. We still have a heart, we can understand happiness like you. We are not really this horrible image in your mind. We  are only acting in a terrible movie, and we are very scared and really tired.
